With an aim to provide training for the skill development and capacity building for the staff of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation), MSDE has signed an MoU with ISRO. The formal framework is being created for short-term courses as per the industry requirements in the space domain in the country. The training will take place at NSTI across India.
With this training programme, skills of various technical staff working across ISRO centres will be enhanced as per the latest industry trends and requirements. ISRO will jointly work with MSDE and associated to NSTI to prepare the curriculum and objectives of the programme. MSDE is also planning to arrange labs, classrooms, workshops and other training facilities to carry out the programme at NSTI.
The programme is aimed at creating a formal framework for short-term courses to provide training for the skill development and capacity- building of the technical staff of ISRO as per the industry requirements, in the space domain in the country. More than 4000 ISRO technical employees will be trained in the programme over the course of the next 5 years. The location of the training will be the National Skill Training Institutes (NSTI) under MSDE located across India.

This MoU will be valid for five years.
