Madhya Pradesh government to employ nearly 60,000 teachers by the end of 2023

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi addressed the program for newly inducted teachers in Madhya Pradesh through a video message on April 12th, 2023.

Emphasizing the program for newly inducted teachers in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi remarked that, in Madhya Pradesh, the campaign to provide youths government jobs is progressing rapidly. By organizing employment fairs in several districts, thousands of youths have been recruited for vagarious.

The Prime Minister said that more than 22,400 youths had been selected for the post of a teacher and congratulated all those who had been issued appointment letters for choosing to work in such a significant profession as teaching.

The Madhya Pradesh government has set a goal of hiring more than 1 lakh government employees in the year 2023, including 60,000 teachers. As a result, the state has seen a significant improvement in the quality of education, referring to the National Achievement Survey. The Prime Minister expressed his happiness at this development.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the new National Education Policy (NEP) was put into place by the Central Government with consideration for the needs of a modern, developed India.

“The policy emphasizes the holistic development of children, knowledge, skills, culture, and promotion of Indian values,” Shri Narendra Modi said, noting the crucial role of teachers in effectively implementing this program. The Prime Minister claimed that Madhya Pradesh’s massive teacher recruitment campaign is an essential move in this direction and stated that about half of the teachers appointed today will be assigned to tribal areas, benefiting youths.

The Prime Minister stated that the state rose from 17th to 5th rank without spending money on advertisements. The Prime Minister congratulated the students, teachers, and the Madhya Pradesh government.

To encourage employment and self-employment, the prime minister emphasized that the government explicitly emphasizes skill development. He stated that under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), skill development centres have been established to train the youth across the country. In this year’s Budget 2023-24, the Prime Minister informed that Skill India International Centres would be created where youths will receive training using New Age Technology. A project has been launched to train small artisans through the PM Vishwakarma Yojana and to connect them with the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

The Prime Minister urged the thousands of teachers appointed today to hold a space in their hearts for their students, similar to the importance of a mother or teacher in our life. Keep in mind that your education will influence not just the present but also the future of this country, Shri Narendra Modi advised.

The Prime Minister concluded his address by stating that education provided by teachers will benefit students and society. “The values you inculcate will positively impact not only this generation but many generations to come,” the Prime Minister concluded.
