in Academia, Skill Talk

Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) has a wide presence across India in over 20 locations, each with its own distinct impact in terms of high-quality training services and a proven track record. The 60-year-old institute has been bridging the gap between industry and academics by generating a talented and industry-ready workforce who have made significant contributions to the country’s industrial growth and well-being.

One of the distinct features of NTTF training is the leadership and operations management at the zonal level. Each zone comprises multiple training centers offering varied programs. The Zonal Head plays an important role in effective management of these centers. We caught up with four zonal heads to learn how impactful leadership matters in technical training and skill development.

Here is what they have to say about the centres as they touched upon various aspects of efficiency in technical training and skill development.

Mr. K V Nair, Zonal Head, NTTF

Mr. K V Nair, Zonal Head, NTTF is in charge of both Tellicherry and Malappuram training centres in Kerala. He joined NTTF in 1994 as the Principal of Bangalore Training Centre (BTC) after serving in the Indian Army for 28 years and since then he has been associated with NTTF.

Talking about the Tellicherry and Malappuram training centres in Kerala, he said, “ Tellicherry centre is the very first and a heritage centre established by Swiss Govt in 1959. It has been imparting purposeful technical training for the last six decades contributing to the industry growth by producing an industry-ready workforce. The Malappuram centre was established in 2013 and has contributed to quality technical training since then.”

Below are the courses that are being offered in Tellicherry:
